Great place in a great location

Chris B

The place was clean and the furniture was nice...the view of the lake was awesome. We used the 🔥 pit one night, and the fish cleaning station came in handy. Very nice place.

Loved it

Rechel G

The homeowner(Milton) was very easy to reach and helped with any questions I had. He also gave me suggestions of the area of things to do. The pictures were very accurate, but I have to say the view was much better than the pictures, Private dock a few feet from the property was great for my needs. All the furniture is new and decorated very well for the space. This trailer looks old on the outside but the inside was all redone! I was very comfortable there. I will definitely be back, you can't beat the price and location. Owner was very friendly and helped with any questions I had. Two thumbs up from me. Thanks Rachel

Met Expectations

Gail T

Wonderfully Clean Home. Great location and access to dock and lake. Rented boat from State Park, very reasonably priced. Great location for surrounding area activities - visit to Corvette Museum, Mammoth Cave, and local Horse Back Riding. Owner easily reachable and very accommodating.

Nice lakeside home

Anonymous

Since my husband and I usually camp at Bailey's Point, this was a little piece of heaven. For the price and location to the dock this was a great home to spend nine days. Very clean and all the extras provided was quite ample. The homeowner was very accommodating, easy to reach and open to suggestions to improve the visit. It is in a very peaceful and quiet area with very friendly and helpful neighbors who treated us as residents. We will definitely be back!!

Small place, but good

William R.

The place is small, but it's fine for a couple or maybe a group of 3. A pretty inexpensive place, so I wasn't expecting anything too big. The best part about it is the access to the lake and specifically to its own boat slip. The kitchen is old, but gets the job done. The grill wasn't working, but hopefully that will be fixed or replaced. A good place for pets and you can section them off on the porch or in the sun room.

Testimonials of Frame in the Trees

Friendly and helpful!

Gabrielle

Milton was friendly and helpful! The place is small but cozy and clean inside with a modern kitchen and great media set up. The porch and yard were not as inviting as I hoped but overall the stay was good.

Loved the whole experience.

Wendy

I absolutely loved the whole experience. It was as described, totally adorable and an completely serene and beautiful location. I really appreciated the BBQ and the TV set up with Roku and Netflix and surround sound was a really nice bonus. We stocked up on supplies in Bowling Green and did most of our own cooking. The lake was amazing! We swam daily. The AC kept us amply comfortable in the heat.

Whole process was simple and easy.

Jake

Milton was great and easy to get in touch with. The whole process was simple and easy. The A frame in the trees is a nice retreat and I would recommend it to anyone staying in the mammoth cave area. In a single day my wife and I were able to complete a 2 hour cave tour, visit the Corvette Museum and corvette assembly plant, visit a dairy barn and a quaker town.

Really nice. Very hospitable.

Stephen

Milton met me when I arrived. Really nice. Very hospitable. Asked me if I needed anything else. Gave me a few tips and pointers. Very communicative on the phone. The space is really cozy. We spent most of our time on the deck and in the lake, swimming. The location is pretty secluded, which made for some fun adventures on back roads, too.

Milton was very accomodating.

Marianne

Milton was very accomodating to my group and I. He responded very quickly to inquiries, making check-in easy and giving us answers to information about the space and local attractions. The only con would be the AC, it would have been nice to have run at night in the main room.

Great little retreat.

Michael

Great little retreat, truly 'up in the trees'. We didn't have a watercraft along, but the lake access and dock are handy - I'll be sure to bring a kayak along next time. All new furnishings, big fridge, BBQ. Plan to be able to cook and relax. Glasgow is close by with amenities: Food Lion and a Walmart, plus the fabulous Rib Lickers for barbeque. We were able to fit Mammoth Caves and the Corvette Museum in on one day, take it easy the other. Recommended!

Owner response:

The property was inspected and cleaned after the last guest left any concerns that they had were taken care of. I did review the property as you asked and found no infestation of bugs as I told you I use a low frequency plug in insect repellent inside and under the crawl space. This is a 1972 model mobile home that has been remodeled, the outside photos are the first thing that I posted for this add and I have not changed them!! I posted inside photos as the fresh paint and new vinyl floors were put down,(the seams were all calked to eliminate insect access, no carpet to eliminate smells and pet ,child accident problems) new metal roof with insulation, new vent covers, all new insulation in crawl space all new Pox plumbing new shower enclosure new bath vanity new tile back splash in kitchen. The kitchen cabinets drawers and shelves were lined. The refrigerator is less than a year old. All new furniture !!!!! The glassed in deck has a new floor and all new paneling The outside deck was just cleaned and sanitized the grill is not new but has a new burner installed and the factory designed hole on the side of the grill is how you light it and it works fine There is a nice walk down the hill to the docks(directly behind the property) I have one dock for guest use, all of the docks there have been replaced in the last couple of years neighbors are friendly and will respect your privacy. I just do not refund fees because you change your mind on the day of arrival your accusations about my property are just not true !!!! Property owners beware of this guest I went to the trouble of finding this lady a person to take her out on a sail boat ride at no charge !!!!
